A novel
The Lantern Keeper
by Maya Reyes
Card 02
Chapter one.
Manuscript
The lamp on the harbour wall went out at nine, the way it always had. Nobody on the island had lit it in years.
Tonight, someone did.
Card 03
Ready to read.
The Lantern Keeper.epub
A chapter for each card
Ready for any e-reader
What will you put in your stack?
Your own book
Your kind of system
A book that keeps going.
New editions, not new books
Change a card and your book becomes its next edition, with a note saying what's new. Reading apps take it in place of the copy they have.
Readers follow along
KOReader, Thorium, PocketBook and other reading apps can follow your book's catalog and pick up each new edition as it comes out.
The EPUB opens back up
Your own copy of the book carries the whole stack inside it. Import the EPUB and every card is back, ready to write on.
Two books from one stack
A book that reflows on any screen, or a picture book with a page per card, its words still real text to search and read aloud.
From a blank card to something that works.
